Dear All,

We are the distributors for the i-CAT in the UK and are happy to provide
scatter plots.

As a rough guideline the shielding requirements will be broadly similar to
an OPG, i.e. 1mm of lead should be adequate in most cases.

I will reply to Ian separately off line.

All the best

Subject: [ctusers] Scatter from dental cone beam CT

Hello

Is anyone able to give me some scatter data for a dental cone beam CT unit,
such as the iCAT or Promax 3D?

I need to get a feel for the implications of installing such a unit where
we now have an OPG.

Thanks

Ian
