Dear Yvonne,

I agree with David's suggestions - both very good books.

Another useful book, more geared towards radiographers is:

Computed Tomography: Physical Principles, Clinical Applications, and
Quality Control By Euclid Seeram
Paperback: 560 pages
Publisher: Saunders; 3 edition (22 Dec 2008)
Language English
ISBN-10: 1416028951
ISBN-13: 978-1416028956

Regards,

Maria

Dear Yvonne and list,

Two books come to mind:

"Computed Tomography: Fundamentals, System Technology, Image Quality,
Applications, 2nd Edition: Fundamentals, System Technology, Image
Quality, Applications" Willi Kalender
ISBN-10: 3895782165
ISBN-13: 978-3895782169

and

"Computed Tomography: Principles, Design, Artifacts and Recent Advances"

Jiang Hsieh
ISBN-13: 978081944425

I personally prefer the Kalender book.

Regards,

David

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has found a particularly good text that they
would recommend for teaching / learning MSCT. I am looking for one that
covers the basic theory, principles (incl. physics / equipment, etc) and
applications rather than details of protocols.

I would very much appreciate and value any thoughts or opinions.

Many thanks,

Yvonne
